BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION

BCA is a three-year undergraduate programme of Govt. recognized university and approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC as ‘A’ Category . The programme is basically the study of problem solving on computers. This programme emphasizes on technical and practical applications. Students will be acquainted with the Programme Techniques, Data Structures, Software Design, the concept of Programming Language, Computer Organization, Computer Architecture, Networking & Data Communication, Information Management & Artificial Intelligence. The programme stresses on analysis and design experiences with substantial laboratory work including various software development. Therefore, GBS offers a rich mix of modern computer science courses and common to these offerings are the power, beauty and utility of computational thought.

To familiarize the students with fundamental principles of basic and advanced information technology concepts.

Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates seeking admission to the BCA Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination from a recognized Board/University with mathematics as one of the subjects in Intermediate/10+2.

Merit of eligible qualification.

BCA : Rs. 65,000/- per annum (Sixty Five Thousand Only) + Rs. 5,000/- (Dress code- Rs. 2500+ Alumni & Activity fee- Rs. 2500)

Examination System:
Examination for BCA Course is conducted by the University in Delhi at the center approved by the University on annual/semester basis under the direct supervision of the University Staff. The schedule of examination is fixed by the University and notified by the GBS at the appropriate time. The students have to pay the examination fee for appearing in the examination as per the University rules.

Apart from Career-oriented courses we try to create magnetism within the student's personality, so that he/she can adapt to any type of situation and deal with various people from all the strata of the society. GBS, apart from covering regular course, also provides the Value Addition Programmes.
